About Creative Side of Business Author
Cynthia Gedemer, a contemporary artist from the Chicago area, focuses her abstract and nature artworks from the inspirational travels to Australia, Hawaii and the Caribbean. She studied fine art at the University of Wisconsin where her work is featured in their permanent collection and is included in private collections. Her most recent artwork is the Star Sculpture entitled “On the Shore” which is featured in the Centennial Star Art public exhibition. When she’s not painting, Cynthia works as a Digital Marketing Strategist and Business Coach.
Cynthia is a business leader with over 15 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, project and general management for Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Telecommunications, and Healthcare industries. She currently is a Board member on the Marketing and General Management Advisory Councils at the University of Wisconsin and previously served on the Executive Board of Directors at the Mental Health Association of Greater Chicago. Cynthia holds a business degree from the University of Wisconsin and a MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She enjoys photography, hiking and Stand Up Paddle surfing.
